Planar Frame Finite Element Solver

A two-dimensional frame solver with axial, transverse, and rotational degrees of freedom.

Method

Each node has three degrees of freedom: axial displacement, transverse displacement, and rotation. The program reads frame geometry, materials, supports, and loads; assembles the global stiffness system; and recovers displacements, member forces and stresses, and support reactions.

Reported results

The report provides multiple test cases and prints relative residuals as 0.000000 at its displayed precision. This shows consistency of the solved linear systems at the report's print precision; it is not a claim of zero numerical error.

Engineering use

The solver exercises beam and frame kinematics, load handling, boundary conditions, and structural result recovery in a standalone workflow.
